The Companion Group is Cooking up Change

The Companion Group has announced that they are expanding the marketing department with the addition of two new positions. Danielle Peterson, Culinary Communications Manager, and Niki Gross, Marketing Communications Manager, have joined the marketing department at The Companion Group. Sarah Goodwin, Public Relations and Communications Manager, has left her position of four years.
Danielle and Niki will combine forces to expand the function of the marketing department. Danielle will primarily oversee media relations and culinary development. Niki will concentrate her efforts on growing The Companion Group’s brand presence in the digital space, including social media. Simone Chavoor, Media Assistant, will remain in her role and continue to support the marketing department’s media efforts.
Danielle joins The Companion Group with a combination of marketing and culinary experience. She has nearly ten years of marketing experience, primarily on the agency side. A Bay Area native, Danielle is a graduate of San Francisco’s California Culinary Academy and has spent over two years as an apprentice at top restaurants, including The French Laundry and Chez Panisse. In her free time you can find her cooking, outdoors, or doing yoga.
Niki has more than ten years of experience in executing integrated marketing campaigns that include email marketing, social media, advertising, branding, public relations, event planning and direct mail. Niki has previously worked with The Companion Group brands during her time at Kitchen Kapers as a Publicist and Cooking Class Coordinator. She hails from Ohio and spends her free time doing yoga, watching baseball and exploring the Bay Area with her husband.
Sarah has left the Company to relocate to Paris, France with her husband and two children. The Companion Group will miss Sarah and wishes her the best on her exciting new endeavor.
