Introducing the blossoming onion grill rack. Enjoy your favorite version of a restaurant-style blooming onion on the grill! It’s easy to make, and our three-piece kit includes a cutting guide, a coring tool, and a grilling rack. Today we’re going to show you how to use the kit by grilling an onion.
To use the kit, we’re going to begin by removing the top of the onion. After we’ve cut the top off the onion, we’re going to peel it. And once the onion is peeled, we’re going to use the coring tool to remove the core. And next, we’ll be ready to place into the cutting guide to make the cuts. Once your onion is in the cutting guide, simply take your knife and begin making the cuts.
Now that we’ve finished cutting our onion, we’re going to lightly season it with some salt and pepper. We’ll remove it from the guide, and we’re going to lightly dress it with some olive oil.
After the salt, pepper, and olive oil, we’re simply going to place it onto the grill rack and transfer it to a pre-heated grill. The onion’s going to take about 10 – 15 minutes on medium-high flame, then we’re going to turn it down to low and cook another 30 – 40 minutes, depending on the size of your onion.
Our onion is finished cooking. We’re simply going to remove it from the rack, and we’re gonna serve it with our simple chipotle dipping sauce.
In caring for this product, always wait for it to cool before cleaning. This product is top-rack dishwasher safe.
When using this product, always take care to use heat-safe gloves, as it will become hot. Also, do not use the cutting guide or the corer on the grill.
